Monday - Friday:
6:30 - 8:30 a.m. AND 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Sunday: 800-9:00 a.m. AND 4:00-5:30 p.m.
What hours are you staffed daily?
Our pet facility is staffed from 6:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m. every day of the week.
Are there any days that you are closed?
Yes, we are closed to the public New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We are fully staffed and your pet will still get all the normal playtime and attention.
What is provided with my pet's stay?
We provide all water bowls, blankets and food dishes. We wash and sanitize all kennels, bowls, blankets and dishes daily.
What do I need to bring for my pet's stay?
Please bring your pet's food, treats and a few toys.
Do I need to bring my pet's food?
Yes, we recommend that you bring food for your pet to minimize the chance for an upset stomach. Please bring your pet's food in Ziploc or plastic Tupperware like container with their name, amount of food to feed and how many times per day. Please do not bring large containers or full bags of food unless your pet is a long-term boarder. We do offer a grain free food at the rate of $1.00 per feeding.
Can I visit my pet while at Tails and Trails?
Absolutely, you can visit your pet and can even take your pet offsite. Pets can be visited during normal business hours.
Can my dog get a bath while at your facility?
Yes! See additional Services for cost under the SERVICES TAB.
Do you offer pet grooming services?
No.
Can you give my pet his/her medication?
No problem, we administer medication every day as needed. See Additional Services under the SERVICES TAB to see if an additional charge applies.
What vaccinations do you require?
Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella. If the Bordatella vaccine has EXPIRED, you must wait 10 days after getting the shot to be cleared for Daycare or Boarding.
Do you have a veterinarian on site?
No, we use your veterinarian, but if it is after hours and your veterinarian is not available, we use the Emergency Veterinarian Services at Blue Pearl in Rochester or Eden Prairie. They are open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
I have multiple dogs; can they stay in the same pet kennel?
Yes, only same family pets can share a kennel.
